Who doesn't like a good cookie? From gooey to buttery and everything in between, cookies are the definitive dessert. This is a simple chocolate chip recipe that makes 14 cookies, perfect for sleepovers, winter nights, or any occasion!

Ingredients:
• 1 cup butter(226 grams)*room temp*
• 1/3 cup brown sugar (30 grams)
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar (170 grams)
• 1 egg
• 2 tsp vanilla extract (6 grams)
• 1 tbsp molasses (16 grams)
• 2 cups All-Purpose Flour (240 grams)
• 1 tsp baking soda (4 grams)
• 1/2 tsp baking powder (2 grams)
• 1 cup chocolate chips (250 grams)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350F (177C)
2. Vigorously whisk butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for 1-2 minutes (until it becomes an off-white color)
3. Mix in egg, vanilla extract, and molasses until combined
4. Fold in All-Purpose Flour, baking powder, and baking soda into the mixture
5.Add in chocolate chips
6. Scoop cookie dough into balls, and place then onto a parchment paper lined tray
